A Mobilerun Alternative for Agents That Need to Talk, Not Just Tap

Mobilerun is a broad platform: cloud Android phones, real iPhones, residential IPs, SMS numbers and a built-in agent, with self-serve signup. ERIUS PHONE is narrower on purpose — one flat-price Android phone per agent, and an agent that can hold a real voice or video call inside WhatsApp or Telegram. Here is the comparison, including where Mobilerun is ahead.

What Mobilerun offers today

A lot, and most of it is self-serve.

We checked Mobilerun's pricing page and docs on 10 October 2026. It has a free plan (1 phone at a time, 60 device minutes, 500 credits) and paid plans at $20, $99 and $299 a month with 600, 3,000 and 9,000 device minutes; extra minutes are $0.03 each. A dedicated always-on Android phone is listed at $50 a month, or $80 with a dedicated residential IP ($64 on annual billing). A real, physical iPhone reserved for you is $200 a month ($160 annual). Receive-only SMS numbers run $60–$100 a month depending on country.

Its docs describe the dedicated Android Phone as a virtual device hosted in the EU, a WebRTC device stream you can embed in your own app, a hosted MCP server with API-key or OAuth sign-in, an ADB tunnel, and a hosted agent that runs tasks for you on credits. You can sign up and start without talking to anyone.

That is more surface than ERIUS PHONE has, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you need an iPhone, a residential IP, an SMS number or a free plan you can start on in the next five minutes, Mobilerun has them and we don't.

Side by side

Mobilerun vs. ERIUS PHONE

Mobilerun

  • Self-serve signup with a free plan (60 device minutes)
  • Plans meter powered-on time: 600 minutes on the $20 plan, then $0.03 a minute
  • Dedicated always-on Android: $50/mo, or $80/mo with a residential IP
  • Real physical iPhones ($200/mo), residential IPs and receive-only SMS numbers
  • WebRTC live stream, hosted MCP server and a built-in agent billed in credits
  • No voice or video calling mentioned on its home, pricing or docs pages

ERIUS PHONE

  • Early access: no self-serve signup yet, keys are issued by hand
  • Flat preview price per phone — no device minutes, no credits, no overage
  • One persistent Android 13 phone for $39/mo (preview), three for $129/mo
  • Android only: no iPhone, no residential IP, no SIM or SMS number
  • No live stream for customers yet; MCP is a package you run locally (erius-phone-mcp on PyPI)
  • One-to-one voice and video calls with your agent over WhatsApp or Telegram

Where ERIUS PHONE is the better fit

Calls, and a bill that doesn't move.

Your agent can be on a call. ERIUS PHONE supports real one-to-one voice and video calls over WhatsApp and Telegram — you call the agent or it calls you, and on video it appears as an avatar. The API can also play audio into the phone's microphone for any app that listens, and video into the camera is in opt-in beta. We found no mention of voice or video calling on the Mobilerun pages we checked; its phone-number add-on is receive-only SMS.

One number on the invoice. ERIUS PHONE has no built-in agent, so there are no agent credits to run out of: you bring your own model and pay a flat preview price per phone. There are no device minutes to pool or watch. If your agent's phone needs to be up all month, the comparison is $39 against Mobilerun's $50 dedicated Android (or $80 with an IP).

A tablet, if your app needs one. The same API drives a 1600×2560 tablet device, with tablet plans from $59/mo (preview).

Where we lose, plainly. ERIUS PHONE is in early access: there is no self-serve signup, devices and API keys are issued by hand, and online payment is not live yet. The prices we publish ($39/mo for one phone, $129/mo for three) are preview prices. There is no free plan — only a 90-second shared demo phone on our homepage. If any of those is a blocker for you today, Mobilerun is the more finished product.

Prices and features change; check the vendor's own site before you decide. Product names belong to their owners, and ERIUS PHONE is not affiliated with them.
